Live life of King Size

Life can be defined in just three words “It Goes On” , the concept which we all should follow. Years back I had a conception about life which can be better defined as mis-conception. My definition of life was,  “A mode of living in an easy, luxurious and problem free format”. Eventually, I realized life is something that should be cherished in every form as we all are here for a mission and we humans can be better defined as “Time Travelers” with a defined manufacture date and expiry date. We all have to play our roles for which we have been incarnated by almighty. That’s why there is a famous saying in English and one of my favorite :”Never change yourself for the sake of others as no one can play your role better than you.” Reiterating on the fact that we all have to perish one day why cant we enjoy the time we are left out with us. There is always a better half and worse half in everyone’s life and why not ? That’s how we portray a story in a movie as well with an  introduction, comedy, action and then happy end/sad ending based on the situation. Hence life also has such scripts already planned for us by lord, all we need to do is play our role to the best. With each and every second passing by we are loosing the time and moving an inch towards the expiry.

When I say this I dont mean to discourage the readers as life and death are the ultimate truths of lifetime but the moot fact that lies beneath this truth is how we spend our life. Whether we do so by playing tricks, being self-centered , callous, cruel, greedy, polarized towards our own tastes and likes or being compassionate, determined towards accomplishing our responsibilities/karma  which we owe to this life gifted to us by almighty. Whatsoever be the day or situation always make a principle to live life of king size. Enjoy every moment without the feel of anger, grief or agony. Remember you might have lost a lot of time till now but you still have a lot of time to replenish what you have lost. Think positive and keep optimistic…I am not a professional author so in-case I have made some mistakes while setting up definitions about life so excuse me 🙂

Satisfaction with life is an enigma for modern day honchos

Moments before today evening, I was on my way towards my favorite kiosk to try my favorite Indian cusine, YES that’s right “Chhole Bhautre”. The name itself reads so delicious 🙂 and infact I wont forget to mention the credit of the skill sets of the cook named “Ganesh” who cooks food so well that people in the entire region of Pune know him . So without wasting a minute, I quickly ordered one Chhole Bhature and till my turn came I decided to take a seat.

Suddenly my attention was drawn towards a  rich brat standing across the lane, with a set of fancy shoes, goggles, T-shirt and Black Jeans. One of his hand was inside his trouser’s pocket while the other was comfortably  resting over the roof of a new Audi(It seemed like a pretty new car). It looked like he just bought the car from the showroom (in my opinion may be a couple of days before). He was involved in a serious discussion with an elderly man(looked like his parents) seated in the back seat of the car. From their body language it looked like they were saying some words of consolation to him.

In this due course of conversation he was busy pointing at a racer bike parked on the other side of the road( few yards away from the kiosk). Eventually his voice turned a bit hoarse and
then it sounded like a rant. His actions spoke more than his words when out of rage, he scribbled the torso of his new car with the car keys that he was holding in his other  hand. Looking at this I was wondering, how strange is this world where some people are happy with whatsoever they have and some people aren’t happy even after they have everything with them. Self possessions are always undermined and others possession seem better. Truly said “We cant buy happiness with weath”.

The above picture  is a billion dollar one which means so much. It indicates satisfaction is nothing or cannot be achieved without self control. The person who has self control can be termed as the most satisfied person in this universe. The word satisfaction is often closely related to one more analogous terminology called as “Greed”. Greed for money, for property, for accessories, for posts, for promotions, for better girlfriend, for food and so on as the  list remains unending and it continues like for ever. Where ever there is greed there will be an element of evilness. But then there is a slim line of difference between satisfaction and necessity. Necessity stays indispensable because this factor determines a measure of our requirement which is absolutely essential for survival. Necessity is an important factor for invention which in inturn  is an important factor for development. That’s why they say necessity is the mother of invention.

We always understand the importance of something once we loose it so lets not learn by repenting as it is the worst case scenario. My dear brothers and sisters in nutshell, we must always understand the importance of the stuffs we possess and never become restless or dissatisfied by looking at what others have with them because in this practice we loose our peace of mind and harm our own-selves. Stay simple, satisfied and enjoy the moments of life. Take care and enjoy life!!

Penny wise pound foolish

This is pretty interesting as well as funny. If you have observed it many time, many of us intentionally or unintentionally follow the best methodologies to save the most in day to day business/activities.We all want to save in every instance and for every occasion, remember how many things we save in a day : we save  phone numbers of agencies providing  good vacation offers,  we save time by shaving and brushing simultaneously, we save food in ovens , we save job opportunities in job portals, we save water in pots, but we loose calories through workouts to save our day and get some good treatment from our confidants  😉 🙂 we save money BUT sometimes infact many times we fail. In the process of saving money the fact turns adverse at the end of the day and we loose more than what we save.

Take a simple example: We go to a tea kiosk and buy a cup of tea. Now we use a paper cup for this purpose, so the most general question here would be what is a paper cup made of? It is made up of  “YES!!! You are right The answer  is  TREES!!” We take many printouts in a day instead of proper usage of technologies like use of e-books or smart phones to read an endless list of documents(eg: how to learn french in 7 days?, how to play guitar in 3 days? etc, etc) online instead of taking its printouts. We all know that e-ticket is valid for boarding into  trains but yet it is a common habit in almost all of us to take  printouts of cab or railway or bus tickets soon after we book it through reservation websites. Hence in the above examples we all gain something at the loss of valuable natural resources. The gain stays temporary but the loss is potential to curse our future generations. Due to heavy deforestation we can see so many natural disasters like landslides, droughts and even greenhouse effects in the nature.

We all are fond of buying cars not just as a part of  our hobby but to match the social status with the people around in our locality. If we don’t maintain a car we have a danger to be tagged as middle class families. We take personal loans, get embedded in neck deep debts to buy a luxurious car to meet the status of the society where we stay. If you are alive then show up but never show off. The social demands keeps on multiplying from scooter to bike and then to car and after some point of time we find the roads are flooded with cars and even pedestrians face a tough time to get their way off from an unending traffic. One greatest philosopher had once said “A nation is termed as developed if all the  citizens choose public transportation over private ones”. It is true not only in literal sense but also in practical sense. By affording public transportation we can put a check on pollution, save extra money we waste on petrol even to move a few meters from our residence to buy newspapers. Instead we can get a good exercise while strolling all the way till the bus stop which can be health-wise beneficial. Buy commodities which are necessary and not with a purpose to impress the society around us. Save and spend money where it is required, so to be a wise investor you need to first understand the importance of  hard earned money. Unless you understand the importance you will never get the point.

I remember one Bollywood movie’s funny scene: The actor in that funny scene arrives his home thirty minutes before his scheduled duty time. His grand father surprisingly asks him how did he manage to reach home so early since the local buses always delays by an hour. The actor replies as “I decided to travel in an autorikshaw today  but I missed it  so I chased that autorikshaw all the way till home and  reached early” . Hearing this his grandfather replies “Try to chase a taxi tomorrow, so that you can save more time and money 😀 ”

My dear brothers and sisters , saving is obviously a good habit but do make sure of the fact that it doesn’t have any after-effects. Your saving strategy shouldn’t be a loss to others.

Valuable lessons of lifetime

395870_10150480670496244_2139572971_n

Our greatest reserves are those who maintain their neutrality in the time of moral crisis:
Most of us would have heard of this famous quote which has a hidden truth in its meaning. How  easy it is to hide your feelings or emotions? The more you hide your feelings the greater it troubles you. It is  real tough to stay neutral when your feelings gets hurted. That’s why they say: “Hearts and words should be handled with care because hearts once broken and words once spoken are difficult to repair”. Above all heart rules over mind  and such situations can be better handled by those who think through mind and not heart since mind stays emotionless. I still remember one of the best lesson taught  by my dad when I was in my kindergarten. He said me “Never be too happy in the time of happiness or never be too sad in the time of grief“. As a child I couldn’t understand much but the words meant so much once I grew up and believe me friends, till today it helps me to tackle all shades of my life. Not sure about happiness but I am quite stable in the time of grief or panicking situations 🙂 . Over reaction and over happiness or over emotions can be disastrous and we need to control our actions and reactions towards all situations in life. There is a beautiful thought in this context “The same boiling water that hardens an egg also softens a carrot”, everything depends on an individual’s reaction to stressful circumstances.

“Life can be defined as a giant wheel”, and  this wheel  has many phases of  ups and downs in it, if we aren’t able to sustain our balance then definitely there is always a  bright chance to fall over face. I being a student in Sanskrit (back in my school days), learnt one thought of lifetime. The thought says “The tree that bears the maximum fruit always bows down”. In english we too have a similar thought which says “Empty  vessels make the  most noise”.  The person who is ignorant and arrogant always demonstrates his inability  and incapability though his jealous attitude towards others who are more able and competent than him (both quality and quantity wise). Never argue with ignorant people as they don’t have anything to loose but if you argue you may fall to their level and start criticizing people around you and hold them blamed as a cause for your failure. Remember work is worship and those who work hard almighty always supports them.If you feel that you are the looser after loosing in one inning or  battle of life and give up your fight then think for a while who will be the real looser? It will be only you and noone else. You cant run a marathon when you start gasping after running for a few hundred meters of the race. Can you?

If we don’t have the ability to confront day today issues or challenges in life  then remember we  make a fool out of us. Noone in this world I can guarantee  is free from problems or troubles.Everyone at some phase or point of time faces troubles in their life. But rather than taking the problem as sign of  curse if we see it as an opportunity to let us know the Dos and Dont of life then it will add to our learning. Remember when you were small and you first learnt how to walk on your feet. There were numerous occasions when you fell and got hurted but you got up until and unless you managed to stand by your own. Your parents  supported you during this phase always and every time until you stood up . Think what would have happened if they wouldn’t have allowed you to walk on your feet just because you had chances to fall down and get hurted. You would have probably crippled by now. A pessimistic approach never works in life so always be positive and keep optimistic.

In this world there are four  foes of every human being : 1) Fear 2) Anger 3)Laziness 4)Greed & dishonesty. In the epic holy book of Hindus named as Mahabhrarata there is a phrase  where Yudhishthira was asked 33 questions by Yaksha  with a condition that Yaksha would spare life of his brothers if Yudhishthira  answers them all correct. One of those 33 questions asked by Yaksha met the context we have seen above. Here is the question:

Question from Yaksha: “What enemy is invincible? What constitutes an incurable disease for man? What sort of a man is called honest and what dishonest?”
Answer from Yudhishthira: “Anger is an invincible enemy. Covetousness constitutes and incurable disease. He is honest that desires the wealth of all creatures, and he is
dishonest who is unmerciful.”

To lead our way towards a better life we all need to follow the basic principles of  life.

In English it means:You have the right to perform your actions, but you are not entitled to the fruits of the actions.Do not let the fruit be the purpose of your actions, and therefore you won’t be attached to not doing your duty.

Five key principles in life

1) Never give priority to someone in your life for whom you are just an option:

In the days of studentship , I remember  we had many of our batch-mates running behind ladies for showing up their love towards them. But is that really called as love, what we see in reality is nothing but the ugliest part of the socitey. Love doesnt come with conditions, love doesnt come with something to loose, love doesnt come with social crimes also love doesn’t demand money and luxury but love is the other name of sacrifice, mutual understanding and respect for each other. Many of the so called road romeos and lovers of colleges end up their career with  low scores or even failure marks in the academics, walking jobless on roads, while many are expelled from colleges for bad conduct or lack of attendence because all the day while other attend the classes they enjoy their quality time with their lovers in parks or hotels. If we give priority to our goals and responsibility towards our family/well being of society  then I think that is more substantial than giving priority to someone for whom you are just an option.A beautiful girl is beautiful for everyone, even she is aware about this fact so don’t ever waste your time on lust but look at the personality of the person and their mindset. What do we say when we see a fat girl, where does all definition of love goes then? Learn to differentiate between love and lust as both start with the letter ‘l’ but means completely contrast to each other.

2) Life is to express and not to impress, don’t ever strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt:

Most of us waste  half of the life impressing people around. We get promoted, get a new car, or house, jewellery or even get an opportunity to travel overseas. What we do first? We immediately
call our friends and colleagues to share our happiness or achievements which they also want to achieve at some point of time in their life but they haven’t achieved so far. Dont you think there will be a cleavage or difference in opinion, the natural tendency of jealousy will also develop during this process. But on the other hand if we have the ability to express ourselves to other then we leave behind an impression once we are out. People remember and feel our absence and they remember us in a way “Oh man!! I wish he/she was there with us today we would have got out of this issue like a cake walk”. Everyone should remember us for our good deeds and not for some bad remark as a sign of embarrassment .

3)Work hard for developing your today and tomorrow, don’t think what you had achieved yesterday:

Yesterday was a history, tomorrow is a mystery today is the  gift that’s why they call it as the present. This explains all about the lines in the thought. Live life of today and tomorrow.Tomorrow there will be more to do as failures are those who stay with some successes made yesterday. Past is only to gain lessons and learning, it doesn’t mean anything more than this. If you want to enjoy your present and future don’t forget the mistakes you made in your past and with those learning you can shape a better present and  future.

4) He who learns must suffer:

A set of merely five words that practically means way more than what it literally means. Unless and until you suffer you will never learn the truth behind the words. Unless a person suffers he/she  will never know the reality behind the words of an advice. Always beleive to get a practical meaning of every word if you want to learn deep about a subject matter.

5) Dont live life to impress someone around you, because that someone wont come to help you when you get screwed up:

First ask yourself that “Is this all what I want?” and “Am I heading towards the right way or direction? and is it my share of business to impress the crowd around me?” Each time you fail, dont be disappointed but rather be happy that you were following a wrong strategy to achieve your goal and you were stopped by almighty before it would have been a disaster. Dont ever share your failure or disappointments or troubles with people around you since 75% dont care about it, 20% feel happy that you are in trouble and remaining only 5% are your near and dear ones who come to rescue you or help you. Some wise person had once said “If you are in
a deep shit then don’t make noise, instead be quiet ,believe in yourself and almighty and make sincere effort to get over the problem”. Hence in time of trouble we should be calm and cool rather than being restless and depressed.

Torna trek – The journey of lifetime that left us with some unforgettable traumatic experiences

India is a nation having numerous forts and palaces distributed mainly in the northern and western belts. Many of those have their existence since time immemorial & have played an important role in shaping the history of the country. The country has been ruled by a number of rulers within the nation and outside the nation. Many of these forts leave good as well as bitter memories of past of bloodshed and glory. The state of Maharashtra located in the western half of India is house to many such forts. Many of these are located in the Shayadri Mountain ranges and are a trekker’s paradise especially during the monsoons. Since these forts have been the scene of large scale death, destruction and damage during battles between warring factions for supremacy, some of these forts also have a reputation of being haunted. I as most of us all didn’t believe in any such paranormal activities before but that night changed our lives like forever. We three friends still feel someone is following us as dark falls. I never repent in my life until now for any of my actions but after that very incident I often ask myself “Was the night stay at Torna Fort necessary?”

This incident happened some two years before in 2012 when I had just returned from a vacation. It was the month of September and it was pouring more than usual that day. Three of us namely I, Arun & Kranti decided to go for an overnight trek to one of the old deserted forts to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. It is after all a different experience to spend the night in the lap of nature and natural beauty. We had heard some stories and rumors of the fort being haunted but nevertheless decided to carry on just for the experience.

This fort is situated around 70 Kms from Pune and is around 1400 meters above sea level. If you have a prior experience in trekking then it is approximately a six hour trek to the fort. We started at around 7 AM in the morning & were fully geared up to spend the night on the fort. As usual I always carry a match box along with me for lighting fire. We had even planned a barbeque for the night time once we reach the fort. We got the bus to Bhor bypass and from there we reached the base village  in approximately an hour. We were carrying sufficient food with us (including biscuits, chips) and water. As we were heading towards the mountain we noticed a man approaching us. He pointed his fingers at us and directed us to go in the other direction, the one which moved over a bridge and was connecting to the mountain at a distance. As per his experience it was an easy way to climb the rocks. We went in the advised route but after walking for a while it appeared as if we have been misguided by that man. We finally managed to sneak through the paddy fields near the mountain base to catch the lane that directed us on the right way. With constant effort we reached up to a level where the same bridge which was appearing some meters before, appeared merely some centimeters now. The air was wet, fresh and we could feel tiny droplets of water over our faces. There were a couple of other trekkers like us on the way to fort. They were very friendly and we soon began chatting. They told us that they had trekked to the fort a couple of times before but always left before sundown. When we told them of our plans to stay there overnight, they looked concerned and told us about reports of spirits and haunting which were reported earlier. When they found that we were determined to spend the night there on fort, one of them insisted that we stay in the temple located at the entrance of the fort which was considered safe by locals. Arun in specific was too much inclined towards paranormal activities.

Till this time we were pretty much casual about the unknowing incident which we were soon to encounter. There was a sudden bifurcation of the path one of which looked very narrow and the other which was moving through the dense forests appeared pretty much wide open. We choose to move in the second pathway. After an hour of walk we finally decided to rest our feets. We could see few rocks on our way and what can be a better place to rest our feets. After having some snacks we decided to move on, when Arun and Kranti spotted the paw of a leopard on the muddy soil and it looked pretty fresh. The western half of India not to mention is a place where we have a good population count of leopards. I was a bit worried about our safety measures because a leopard can be more powerful than any other spotted cat family members like cheetah and is potentially dangerous.

Additionally we weren’t carrying any weapons to defend us. What I said to my friends was to keep a good watch at their back (leopards mostly attack from back) and then move forward. Though a leopard would never prefer to attack humans but incase accidentally we confront a leopard, then we must shout at top of your voice and clap at it raising your hands. It gives a scope to scare off the leopard as per the forest experts’ experience. After moving for a while we could hear some frantic growls from a distance accompanied with squeals of a pig. It looked like the leopard got its kill, we decided to speed away from the sight at the earliest. It was a terrifying forest where it appeared to be dark in the morning hours due to gigantic trees every where around us. The path in which we were heading eventually narrowed and getting more and more inclination. The sky turned grey by now and it looked as if it could rain any moment. We decided to speed up but at the same time we were extremely watchful as we were at a height of almost 1.4kms from the base.

Everything appeared like a miniature from that height. It was like Guilver’s world where everything gigantic appeared small but here the height was the factor. We were walking carefully taking the support of the thorny bushes to our right and there was the wide open valley to our left. Any miss from here could lead us to a great trouble. Everything which was appearing fine until now appeared to be worse when we realize the path which we were following was misleading and it ended up into the deep valley. We stopped and thought for a while about our next strategy and by now it has already started pouring. The path was steep and narrow, over this the rain further spoiled the conditions by making the path muddy and ultimately leaving behind the worst experience for us of our lifetime. Just a few meters above the place we were standing, there was a huge tree with no leaves and only a wooden framework left. We managed to move up and were extremely careful as a miss from here would drag us to the hell. Kranti climbed first and provided us support to climb. My shoes were wet and slippery. It added to the misery as I wasn’t getting much grip on the ground. We continued our climb; I wasn’t able to climb properly because of my shoes and was left behind in the race and the path that was having grasses and thorny plants until now slowly turned into a muddy lane. The inclination was approximately 70 degrees. I wasn’t able to see a distance even few meters above me, only what I could hear was the voice of my friends who were wailing and warning me to move back. I was puzzled what could have caused that, and was concerned too as I was only able to hear and not see anything above me. The inclination was a bit too much. The more I was trying to move up, the muddy slippery soil tend to pull me towards the valley.

The only thing what I could do is to lie on the muddy ground to get more friction and to avoid slipping further towards the valley. I decided to stay calm for a while since when we get agitated it worsens the situation. “My situation was similar to a duck which looks calm outside the water while it paddles like hell underneath the water.”

My face was covered with mud since I was lying flat over the muddy lane. I could see one small red crab crawling across my face. I didn’t move a muscle as it could have scared the crab which could have given a vicious bite on my face and a small wound could have disrupted my balance which I had somehow maintained until now. I let the crab go to the other end and it was moving with a lot of pride as if that very day was a crab’s day. I prayed to almighty and as a last hope I decided to move upwards as moving downwards could have been lethal for sure. I dragged my body slowly but steadily atleast for a few meters, it was a rough path so I got some deep wounds and bruises but it didn’t matter me that time since my only priority was to reach to the safer zone. I heard the voice of my friends, this time they were waving their hands on the lane upwards and pointing at me to move straight upwards. I got hold of some shrubs and finally got up over my feet which were slightly bleeding by now. Finally I reached the apex of the mountain after a long struggle for hours. We took some pictures of the panoramic view of the mountains around us, the surrounding was mesmerizing and as rightly told by someone even words and pictures fall short of the mark to express the beauty of the nature.

We could see yellow, violet and red flowers which appeared just like carpets of the nature welcoming us to the Torna Fort. The scenery from the fort was breathtaking. We could see the fort a in a range of a few meters. The fort was huge with a lot of items of historical significance. We saw many inscriptions of the historical times. We also located a small water pool which would fulfill our requirements for water required for washing my wounds, drinking and cooking. I covered my wounds with bandage just to prevent exposure from water. It was 7.00 PM and the sun had nearly set. We had already kept our stuff near the temple where we could cook & spend the night after dinner. We were carrying maggi packets and a bundle of dry grasses and wooden pieces. I found a safe and dry area to light the fire near the fort and cooked the maggi soup for the night time dinner. My friends suddenly got a crazy idea to throw some pebbles in the water pool as we do in childhood. Both of them were competing who can create more ripples on water. All of a sudden Arun fell into the water and started gasping as he didn’t knew how to swim. I came running and with the help of Kranti, we managed to pull him out of the water but after coming out of water he looked a bit shaken. As per Arun someone pushed him into the water from behind and there was no possibility that Kranti could have done this as distance wise Kranti was standing way behind Arun to do such an act.

We decided to stay inside the temple at night and started moving towards our camp. Upon reaching the camp we were all stunned and gazed at each other clueless since our cooking earthen pot containing the soup was broken deliberately by someone. The only question that came to our mind was who could be behind this act. We were getting a scare factor by now. We then decided to eat whatever biscuits and chips we were left with in our bags to kill our hunger. Arun was carrying a couple of candles which we lit after entering the temple and the lights enlightened the temple. We had sufficient space to accommodate three people inside the temple. By now night had fallen, the breeze outside was turning violent and we could hear dogs barking outside. We could feel long fetch of winds were spiraling outside the temple. I told my friends “Certain things in life cannot be predicted: Job, money and opportunity.”

It was around 11:00 PM when we heard a door knock and eventually the door knock turned into door bangs. Someone was waiting for us outside; all of a sudden Kranti shouted “Who is there at the door?”. After a few minutes the door bang stopped and then we could hear a male voice (sounded like an old man of late 60’s) repeating the same words what Kranti said “Who is there at the door?” . The voice turned horse, rude and repeated the words over and over for almost 6-7 times, it sounded as if the old man standing outside was going to diddle us all. The intensity of the door bang kept on increasing each time and then suddenly it was complete silence. Everything looked motionless and unmovable for a while. We couldn’t hear any sounds of storm or wind; it appeared as if everything got frozen. Our colors had almost turned pale by now and we were kind of getting goose bumps. All of us had become nervous wrecks. It seemed that the only thing which was preventing the evil entity outside from coming in was the presence of the deity inside the temple. None of us could manage to sleep and were staring at each other. We then heard the voice of an old lady outside the temple. Her voice was feeble but was enough to be audible. We froze into terror when she called us by our names. It is hard to express what could be the feeling of some one when he/she faces such a situation as we were facing now. Kranti and I were whispering softly: “How could she know our names? . Oh man!! Are we going to encounter with these spirits today. What a bad day is today, we got injured, lost our dinner and now it is the terror night”. The lady was giggling at us and saying “I have been here since hundreds of years and have asked for food those who can hear me. So, won’t you feed a hungry old woman”.

I summed up all my courage and answered back “We are tired and sleeping inside but we have some cooked food inside a pot near the water pool location, you can have it if you are hungry”. I was under an impression that after knowing about the food she would leave and this can end this terror night. Just when we felt that the worst was over, it started all over again. This time the banging of temple doors continued with increased intensity and abuses for around forty five minutes before it finally ceased. It was around 3AM by now and trust me none of us could sleep. All of us sat around the deity and prayed hard in such a way that we had never done before. Getting out of the fort safely was the only thing going through our minds at that time.

It was 6:00AM by my watch and we could hear the birds chirping outside. Gradually mustering up our courage, I opened the window and was relieved to find that the situation outside was calm. I woke up Kranti and Arun who were taking a small nap. Arun was feeling bit feverish and claimed to have terrible back pain. When he insisted, we lifted his shirt to find out the reason for his agony but what we saw froze us. We stood still almost puzzled for a couple of minutes as there were two deep marks of palms at his back. We decided to leave the place immediately and end the ordeal without any further damage. On the way we saw the cooked maggi- soup was eaten by someone, hopefully the hungry spirit. Arun was wailing with pain all the way while we were descending downhill. We reached the base village in a couple of hours, booked a cab and reached Pune and rushed immediately to a hospital where the doctors suggested to admit Arun since his condition had worsened by then. Arun’s bruises was healed after regular medications but it took him almost three weeks to come out of the trauma of the deadly experience in the Torna fort. After this incident many of my friends witnessed, Arun staying aloof and often speaking to someone when they couldn’t see anyone around him. As per doctors it was all because of after affects of the trauma. Such incidents not only affect our body but also leave a deep wound in our minds and I suppose time will heal him completely.

To share this experience it is hard to say but there is obviously an invisible world around us where spirits and demons stay. They are everywhere around us. Also there is another world where almighty stays and now it is choice of an individual whether to choose the world with positive energy of almighty or the world with negative energy of evil spirit. We must respect their territory and should not try to intrude into it because no-one can be held responsible for the consequences of our actions.
